An overloaded train carrying 1,300 passengers instead of its capacity of 600. About 70 persons have been confirmed dead and 600 injured. Though they are receiving treatment. Because of this incident, the country's president declared public holiday inorder to more the deceased.

How a corp member was murdered in Kaduna state

A youth corp Lawal Kontagora was murdered on monday 17th october, in Malali in Kaduna North Local Government. He was the first child of his mother.

       He was known  as a gentleman

As a friend reported: Lawal was in his car other his mother's house chatting with a friend located at Gambi road in Malali. When two men came out from uncompleted building and tapped on the glass. He brought down the glass, and then the mysterious men asked them to step out of the car, kneel down and raise their hands up. Of which they did, they asked for their phones on which Lawal got up to get his phone from the car in the process he was immediately shot on the leg by one of the robbers.  His leg  scattered all over because the shot was at close range. Then they used a weapon called Gario and stabbed him on the head.

      As this went on, Lawal's friend rushed out for help. the hoodlums started shooting in the air. unfortunately also, his friend was unlucky as Lawal. They both lost their lives.

      Confirming the incident, Kaduna police spokesperson ASP Usman Aliyu  said two suspects have been arrested connected with the case. Also that more investigtions are going on.

Police catches child trafficking syndicate and rescues 2months old baby sold for 450k

Police in Akwa ibom raids a child trafficking centre and a woman alleged for buy a 2 months old baby for N450,000

        The suspects were paraded in Uyo on 22 0ct being saturday. One homeopathic doctor eneyo nyang was among the suspect who is accused of running the factory, two teenage girls and a 24 yr old mother who had sold 2 months old baby to a 51yr old Rose Edward.

          it is reported that Rose confessed that she bought the baby because she needed it. She is Rivers state. The police spokesperson therefore warns parents to take responsibilites of their teenage girls to avoid unwanted pregnancies.
